Tim Biskup an artist from Santa Monica is the man who created the geometric paintings of ladies (and not so geometric owl) you see above. You can see the rest of his work, from vinyl toys and shoes to posters and ceramic bowls, here.
I don’t know much about these paintings other than the artist name is Michelle Morin, they are available to buy via her Etsy shop and I really like them.
Dan, here at Six pointed me towards the work of the young and talented Zhou Fan. Based on his childhood dreams, these paintings are an obscure and vivid tale of an alternative world; Detailed and colourful reenactments which have attracted a lot of attention through numerous exhibitions in New York, Germany and Shanghai. Definitely worth checking out.
