Von was formally invited by Timothy Barber, Art Critic for CityAM, to exhibit at this year’s ING Discerning Eyes exhibition. Pictured are his two new originals, created especially for the show.

Love these. Looking forward to seeing them in the flesh on Thursday.

Heres a stop frame animation of Von at work on his latest original, to be shown in his forthcoming LA solo show, titled “Semblance”. I love this new shift in style.

Hellovon, genius of London town, opened a solo show last night at the Electric Blue Gallery. It’s showing until July 7th, so get down there, marvel at his unearthly talent, and maybe buy a print or two.

The talented Von was commissioned by packaging specialists DesignBridge to create an illustration for this rather lovely bottle of wine. Available to purchase here.

Each year, for the past three years, design studio HudsonBec has invited contemporary image makers to respond to the question – ‘If you could do anything tomorrow, what would it be?’ The latest responses to this question can be seen in this catalogue and on the walls of the exhibition at Kemistry Gallery, celebrating the completion of the project.

I didnt make the opening, as intended but I did manage to pop in on Friday. The original piece by Ian Wright, depicting the face of John Lennon in pins ( Pictured—sorry about the quality ) is pretty damn amazing, defo worth popping in if you are around that area.

I gave Von a hand erecting his first “Migration” piece at the Truman Brewery over the weekend. 7 1/2 hours later it was finished, see the time lapse here.

“Migration will take place in two parts, in two capital cities in two months. A flock of abstracted birds was first be installed on the Truman Brewery, London in late August. In September the birds will reappear in New York flocking towards the billboard on the side of the Espeis Gallery in Williamsburg – the project inheriting the migrational nature of it’s content.”

Original artwork and prints will be made for sale online.
