Art & Sole is an online resource that celebrates the creative side of sneaker culture. First published in 2008, Art & Sole started life as a book featuring the best artist/designer sneaker collaborations, as well as showcasing artists who based their work on sneakers.

Alongside the blog they are also currating an ongoing series of specially commissioned screen-prints created by leading artists and designers from around the globe. Each print is limited to an edition of 50, and is stamped, signed and numbered for authenticity. The first in the series; Sole Inspector by graphic artist James Jarvis, can be found in their Shop section now.

The collaboration is supposed to drop in Louis Vuitton stores in June of this year. Interesting, to say the least!

So having not seen any trainers that took my fancy in ages, I decided to go back to the trusty Cons”  to help me out in the footwear department, thinking they would last me at least 5 months! Then Nike go an announce these babies – “Vintage Nike Vandal High Supreme”. The last time these made it to the public was in 2003, and before that was two decades back. Sorry Cons”, but there is a lovely spot at the back of my wardrobe with your name written all over it.

Nicked from Nice Kicks

This shoe takes its inspiration from the Converse All-Star silhouette but with Number (N)ine’s own styling. Available now at Number (N)ine retailers. Nice!
